Your Safety and Wellbeing

Meditation can be a valuable practice for cultivating awareness, managing stress and supporting overall wellbeing. However, it is important to recognise that meditation may not be suitable for everyone, and some practices may need to be adapted to meet individual needs.

My priority is to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable practising in a way that works for them.

Although many people find meditation beneficial, periods of stillness and self-reflection can sometimes bring difficult thoughts, feelings or emotions into awareness.

If you:

  • are currently receiving support from a healthcare professional,

  • have a physical or mental health condition,

  • are pregnant or post-partum,

  • or have any concerns about whether meditation is appropriate for you,

please get in touch before attending a session.

As part of the registration process, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire. Depending on your individual circumstances, I may recommend discussing participation with your healthcare professional before attending.

These measures are not intended to exclude anyone, but to help ensure that meditation is offered in a way that feels safe, supportive and appropriate for your individual needs.

Accessibility

I am committed to making meditation as accessible as possible. If you have any accessibility requirements, mobility considerations or specific support needs, please contact me before attending so that reasonable adjustments can be explored wherever possible.

Questions or Concerns?

If you are unsure whether meditation is right for you, or would like to discuss your individual circumstances, please get in touch before booking a session. I will be happy to answer any questions and help you determine whether my sessions are appropriate for your needs.
